Mr. Hada currently coordinates the work of the 缅北禁地OHCHR in the area of economic and social rights. Since joining OHCHR in 2000, he has worked on a variety of mandates related to the right to development & economic & social rights. In the past, he led OHCHR’s human rights mainstreaming agenda & coordinated 缅北禁地interagency efforts to integrate human rights in the policies & programmes. Prior to OHCHR, he served at the 缅北禁地Department of Economic and Social Affairs in New York, the 缅北禁地Office at Vienna, UNDP & the 缅北禁地Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York.

Trauma-Informed/trauma-competent, 30-year mental health professional & survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing attack. The collection of personal knowledge & the experience gained from working with victims & survivors from around the world has culminated in a global perspective of the traumatic experience/victimization & the healing process when impacted by mass violence or terrorism. Maintains a clinical practice & is an Adjunct Instructor for the graduate-level counseling psychology program at Chestnut Hill College. Currently a Licensed Professional Counselor, Consultant in the OVC TTAC Network, DDH task force, & Crisis Emotional Care Team with Vibrant Emotional Health.

Ms. Begdouri lost her husband and son in the terrorist attacks of 16 May 2003 in Casablanca, Morocco. She is President and founder of the Moroccan Association of Victims of Terrorism since 2011, which provides support to victims of terrorism, commemorations in memory of the victims, and raises awareness on the danger of terrorism and the consecration of the culture of peace. She is also the President and founder of the Association of Victims of May 16 created in 2003. Ms. Begdouri is also a founding member of the International Federation of Associations of Victims of Terrorism based in Paris. She was a high school teacher until she retired in 2005.

Montserrat Torija is entrusted with the attention and support of victims of terrorism, their comprehensive protection and the collaboration to this end with the rest of the Public Administration. Formerly, she was the Deputy Director in charge of pensions for civil servants. Later, she became the managing director of the Foundation for Victims of Terrorism, a public foundation associated with the Ministry of Interior. She has worked as a senior advisor to the Technical Cabinet of the Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy and as a senior advisor to the Department of National Affairs at the Cabinet of the Government’s Presidency.

A trained Journalist, Writer, Seasoned grassroots mobiliser and Humanitarian Works Expert with over twenty years’ experience using the platform of my NGO, a non-profit making organization – Hope Initiative for the Vulnerable and Marginalized (HIVAM) and recently as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development to address peculiar issues of target groups which include the aged, orphans, widows, victims of insurgency, itinerant beggars, youth as well as disadvantaged women and their respective environment.

Mr. Kim is attorney and vice-president of the Victim Spport Asia. Mr. Kim served as a prosecutor for over 22 years. Mr. Kim currently serves as the president of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration and Law, the vice president of the Korean Arbitrators Association, the vice president of the Korean Association of Victimology, the advisor for the Securities Financing Investigation Team of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors Office, the advisory board of Korean Terrorism Victim Support Association. Mr. Kim obtained a doctorate degree focusing on the Capital Markets Act.
