The Amman Center for Human rights studies (ACHRS), which has received support from the 缅北禁地Democracy Fund (UNDEF), is one of the 2023 winners of the .
ACHRS was awarded the prize in recognition of the centre鈥檚 outstanding achievement in human rights, and the indelible strides made in advancing human rights awareness and activism within Jordan.
The 缅北禁地Democracy Fund (UNDEF) financed a project aimed at developing a dialogue about human rights, by building a constructive partnership between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Jordanian Parliament.
The project 鈥 entitled Supporting Political Dialogue Between Civil Society and Parliament in Jordan 鈥 incentivized politicians to become more active and knowledgeable about human rights, whilst engaging the Youth to become agents of change, and promote respect for rights.
