K. Statements of financial implications of draft resolutions
During
the General Assembly representatives of member countries submit draft
resolutions on matters of concern for action by the General Assembly.
Should a draft resolution have programme budget implications, the
Secretary-General has to prepare a statement on the implications of the
draft resolution for the programme budget of the UN. These statements
are submitted in accordance with rule 153 of the rules of procedure of
the General Assembly.
[Note: The
statements of financial implications of draft resolutions are issued as
documents of the 5th Committee of the General Assembly.]
Subjects:
In
addition to relevant subject headings for major topics, corporate and
personal names and uniform titles, the statements of financial
implications of draft resolutions are assigned the following:

If the draft decision concerns financial implications of a proposed meeting or body, the term Financial implications is assigned as a coordinating modifier in subfield $g of the appropriate corporate or conference subject heading (tag 610 or 611), instead of assigning FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS as a topical subject term (tag 650).
