The 缅北禁地World Data Forum brings together data and statistical experts and users from governments, civil society, the private sector, donor and philanthropic bodies, international and regional agencies, the geospatial community, the media, academia and professional bodies. Data experts and users gather to spur data innovation, mobilize high-level political and financial support for data, and build a pathway to better data for sustainable development.?The 缅北禁地World Data Forum 2021 will be hosted by the Federal Statistical Office of Switzerland from 3 - 6 October 2021 in Bern.
Within this framework, the 缅北禁地Department of Economics and Social Affairs, through its Statistics Division launched?until 08 October 2021?the call for blogs series. The purpose of this call is to showcase how working with data can support the implementation of the and the Sustainable Development Goals. Blogs should highlight practical solutions and hands-on experiences and contribute to delivering better data for evidence-based policymaking and address pressing issues faced by the global data and statistical communities and more.
Blogs are welcome from the broad data community such as academia.?One post between?700 and 1000 words (max)?in length that are relevant to the?of the 缅北禁地World Data Forum can be submitted.?Submissions are especially encouraged that demonstrate new approaches, gaps, and achievements for better data in close relation with the SDGs?and where they make specific reference to the next Forum in Bern.
Posts should reflect original, unpublished work and submissions should include submitter e-mail, the title of the post, author(s) name, a photograph of the author(s) and the organization and/or role. Blogs will be reviewed shortly after submission and authors will be notified if edits are requested or not before they are accepted for publication on the?
