Committee on World Food Security (CFS 48)

The 48th Plenary of CFS will take place virtually on Friday, 4 June 2021, and will feature ten side events organized by its partners. Food for All: Food conflicts and the future of food systems

The Secretariat of State of the Holy See, the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to FAO, IFAD & WFP, the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, and the Vatican COVID-19 Commission alongside its partners working in food security, have launched a series of webinars entitled Food for Life, Food Justice, Food for All. The webinar on May 31, cohosted by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, and titled 鈥淔ood for All: Food conflicts and the future of food systems鈥, will explore different responses to food conflicts, and how the Church can best contribute and collaborate to address hunger and food inequality around the world.
