Background
At its 13th session in May 2019, the United Nations Forum on Forests adopted a format for voluntary national reporting to the UNFF and invited Members States to submit their voluntary national reports by mid-November 2019. The UNFF reporting format is structured around the Global Forest Goals and targets of the Ãå±±½ûµØStrategic Plan for Forests 2030, and is primarily qualitative in nature. In developing the format, due consideration was given to reduce reporting burdens and accordingly, quantitative information related to progress in the Global Forest Goals and targets will be retrieved from existing data sources.
