About the event
This ITTO side event at COP 26 will promote cooperation and synergies among stakeholders to support the effective implementation of the MoEF-ITTO forest fire project in South Sumatera and Central and South Kalimantan in Indonesia, as well as the SERFOR-ITTO fire project in Peru. It will increase networking and promote research and capacity building to prevent and combat forest fires in the tropics.
