Summary AHEG2 on the IAF

AHEG2 summary

Member States and other stakeholders of the 缅北禁地Forum on Forests discussed the future of forests as defined in the International Arrangement on Forests. The 5 day Ad Hoc Expert Group (AHEG) meeting took place between 12 and 16th of January in UNHQ, NY, USA. The summery, by the meetings Co-Chair, will be submitted and discussed during the 11th Session of the 缅北禁地Forum on Forests, which will take place in May 2015.

The meeting has been attended by 162 participants including representatives from 79 Member States, nine members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, 10 Major Groups and two permanent observers.
