We enter the last decade of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.? We enter the last five years of the Vienna Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing countries.

Above all we find ourselves in an unprecedented situation.

We are all aware that LDCs, LLDCs and African countries are especially hard hit by COVID-19 and the world-wide recession.?The poorest, women and girls and people with disabilities are?among the people?suffering the most.?

This virtual session is a space for participants and the development community to learn, share and explore the measures being taken by 缅北禁地Agencies, governments and the digital industry to provide resilient connectivity - through access to broadband - and its importance in current global crises like COVID-19.

Urgent Action Needed for World’s Vulnerable Countries to Meet Energy Targets by 2030

NEW YORK 12 JUNE 2020 – Universal access to sustainable energy remains a major requirement for the world’s most vulnerable countries to gain a foothold in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

According to the latest??energy progress report, promising progress toward energy access, renewable energy and energy efficiency has been made however efforts are falling well short of the scale required to meet the SDG 7 targets by 2030.
