NEW YORK 24 September 2020 –?Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) met virtually on the margins of the 缅北禁地General Assembly on September 23 and expressed concern about the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on their countries.

NEW YORK 17 September 2020 – Reiterating their call for a global stimulus package for Least Developed Countries (LDCs),?Foreign Ministers?met?virtually?at?the General Assembly?this week to?discuss how?the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically hampered efforts?for?more vulnerable countries to?meet?their development?goals.?

Hon. Minister Mkaka, thank you for giving me the floor again to say a few closing remarks, and let me thank and congratulate you for chairing this very important and successful meeting. The efficient and substantive way in which you presided over the proceedings was simply exceptional.
