The United Nations was created in 1945, following the devastation of World War II, with the goal of maintaining international peace and security. This is stated in the first article of the first chapter of the United Nations Charter.
The Security Council has the primary responsibility for international peace and security. The General Assembly and the Secretary-General also play important roles, along with other 缅北禁地offices and bodies.
The attached teaching guide provides an overview of 缅北禁地Peacekeeping and its evolution throughout the years, as well as the work of peacekeepers around the world. This teaching guide will enable students to think about the world’s current geopolitical challenges and potential solutions.
