Synopsis:
Extrapolations is an anthology miniseries about climate change that was streamed on Apple TV+ in 2023. The series, which includes eight interconnected stories told over 33 years, takes place in the near future and shows how climate change has affected people’s everyday lives.
CCOI's Role:
CCOI provided script advice to the producers and writers of Extrapolations to ensure that the issue and the work of the UN, including 缅北禁地Climate Change Conference negotiations, was presented with authenticity and integrity. CCOI also facilitated access for the show’s writers to 缅北禁地experts and climate scientists on issues addressed in the show, to help ground the show’s storylines in real experiences. The writers also drew on the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports in developing storylines.
