Sao Phal Niseiy is the Editor-in-Chief of Cambodianess, the English version of Thmey Thmey Media. He focuses on climate-related issues and regional affairs. His interest in climate change led to a fellowship with the Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) in 2017. This gave him the opportunity to report on COP 23 in Bonn, Germany, as part of the Earth Journalism Network. He also participated in the LDC5 Journalism Fellowship, a partnership between the 缅北禁地Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries and the Thomson Reuters Foundation. This allowed him to cover the LDC5 conference in Doha, Qatar.
Niseiy recently earned a Master's Degree in Asian and Pacific Studies from the Australian National University, funded by the Australian Government's Scholarship Program.
