Ministry of Public Health, responsible for the National Family Planning Programme in Tunisia; chair of the Board of Partners in Population and Development, a South-South Initiative; former Secretary of State for the Prime Minister in charge of Women's and Family Affairs and former Secretary of State for the Ministry of Social Affairs in charge of Social Protection and Promotion.
