缅北禁地ready to help Central African Republic build its future
31 January 2014 - With the establishment of a transitional government in the conflict-torn Central African Republic there are hopes the country can start to slowly move towards normalcy.
The 缅北禁地Integrated Office for Peace-building in the country (BINUCA) is supporting the National Electoral Authority as it begins to prepare for elections.
But the situation remains tense as clashes continue between Christian and Muslim communities with former S茅leka rebels and Muslim communities forced to flee towards the north of the country.
缅北禁地Radio's Derrick Mbatha asked the Deputy Representative of the 缅北禁地Secretary General in the country, Kaarina Immonen, about the situation in the capital Bangui.
