CT Travel Programme Donors Forum: Highlighting Achievements, Impact and Lessons Learned

New York, 19 June 2023 – The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), together with the United Nations Countering Terrorist Travel (‘CT Travel’) Programme partners, organized a hybrid side event, ‘Donors Forum: Highlighting Achievements, Impact, And Lessons Learned’, on the margins of the Third Counter Terrorism Week (CT Week) 2023.

The event showcased United Nations support to Member States to enhance their capabilities to use transformative technologies to counter terrorist threats through the collection, analysis, and exchange of passenger data, advance passenger information (API) and passenger name records (PNR), while upholding human rights.  Highlighting lessons-learned from its implementation in Norway and Botswana, the event featured an interactive conversation with funding partners, exploring ways in which Member States can contribute to creating maximum impact on land, air, and maritime borders.
