If there are multiple dates in 260 $c, for example in case of a reprint, the reprint date is entered in 269 $a, not the original date. In case of a publication date and a copyright date, the publication date is entered in 269 $a, not the copyright date. In case of a series with open date or sequence of dates in 260 $c, the first date in the sequence is entered in 269 $a.
Note: The year entered in 269 $a should match the year entered in 008/07-10.
