Virtual Concert in Celebration of World Wildlife Day
On 3 March 2023, the 缅北禁地Chamber Music Society will perform a concert in celebration of World Wildlife Day.聽 The animals and plants that live in the wild have an intrinsic value and contribute to the ecological, genetic, social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, recreational and aesthetic aspects of human well-being and to sustainable development.聽 World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that their conservation provides to people. At the same time, the Day reminds us of the urgent need to step up the fight against wildlife crime and human-induced reduction of species, which have wide-ranging economic, environmental and social impacts.

Within the framework of International Women鈥檚 Day and the annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the United Nations Academic Impact initiative (UNAI) has organized a virtual side event on聽Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Higher Education: A Space for Gender Equality. It will take place on聽Tuesday, 14 March, from 10am to 12pm New York time.聽
