Catalyse Partnerships and Scale-up Energy Compacts
To advance progress towards SDG 7, it is crucial to invest in transformative partnerships that engage all stakeholders and foster trust. UN-Energy takes a leading role in mobilizing global multi-stakeholder action, particularly through the Energy Compacts. The Energy Compacts have proven effective in mobilizing commitments for the implementation of the Secretary-General's Global Roadmap for Accelerated SDG7 Action. The Energy Compacts also featured prominently at the SDG Summit 2023 as a High-Impact Initiative contributing continuously to enhancing partnerships, increasing ambition, facilitating matchmaking, and monitoring progress in the implementation of the commitments.
