The , which has 136 signatories, was discussed at an event held on 20 September, organized by SEforALL. The event showcased results from a new study focusing on the significant potential of a consumer-led decarbonization for the energy transition. Panelists from national and city governments, utilities, business and other stakeholders examined government incentives, regulatory frameworks, consumer education and empowerment, worker retraining, financing and other policies and actions needed globally to shape the electricity industry in a way to maximize emissions reductions.
