Statement by the Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information
The Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information addressed the Committee at its opening meeting and provided an update on the activities of the Department of Public Information. He reported on the implementation of the recommendations contained in General Assembly resolution . He also took part in an interactive dialogue with Member States in the afternoon of the opening day of the meeting.
