Every year the global network of United Nations Information Centres, United Nations Information Service and United Nations Offices observe the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust in partnership with civil society groups and Government representatives. Events at UNICs range from solemn ceremonies, to film screenings, exhibition openings, text message campaigns and a tree planting to honour the victims of the Holocaust.
