KA?S SA?ED, President of Tunisia, said that the world is far more interconnected today than when the United Nations was founded.  As such, humanity is entering a new era in which the principles of the past cannot guide global actions today.  He said the Palestinians are still denied the right to their land.  The United Nations will have to rise up to meet emerging challenges, he concluded.
