Receivability - The Application was found not to be receivable since, in accordance with art. 8.4 of the Statute of the Dispute Tribunal, the UNDT cannot waive the time limit to file an appeal, more than three years after the applicant’s receipt of the contested administrative decision.

The Applicant is a former staff member of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In his Application filed on 15 December 2014 he contests the decision of the then Compensation Claims Board, United Nations Office at Geneva dated 16 March 2009 to deny his claim for reimbursement of medical expenses under Appendix D to the Staff Rules.
