    • There are examples of this in the area of trade and implementation of the WTO commitments here.
    • Under UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement: LDCs and SIDS have more flexible reporting requirements. For example, while other parties must submit reports on their implementation of certain articles of the Paris Agreement, LDCs and SIDS do so at their discretion. More information  (PDF).
  • Support for the costs of diplomatic representation. The Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, subsidizes the rental costs of the Permanent Missions of LDCs in Geneva up to a certain monthly limit. Countries may continue to benefit from this for up to three years after graduation. More information .
  • Junior Professional Officer (JPO) positions at the United Nations. JPOs are generally nationals of donor countries (mostly developed countries) but some positions are open to nationals of developing countries and some specifically to nationals of LDCs.
  • Young Professionals Programme at the World Health Organization (WHO). WHO's Young Professionals Programme intends to increase the representation of nationals from LDCs in WHO’s workforce.
