The International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries

The International Think Tank for Landlocked developing countries (LLDCs) is the first intergovernmental body of the LLDCs. The International Think Tank for LLDCs is located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The International Think Tank for LLDCs () provides a centre of excellence for LLDCs by using top-quality research that will translate into policy formulation and ultimately into action. The ITTLLDC actively engages in global dialogues on LLDC-related issues by organizing regional as well as international seminars and conferences to contribute to the development of policy debate in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations, including the private sector, national and international universities as well as research institutes.

UN-OHRLLS and ITTLLDC have the common objective to assist LLDCs in addressing their specific development constraints and challenges and have been actively working in collaboration on numerous activities and events since 2014.

UN-OHRLLS was granted observer status in the Board of Governors of the ITTLLDC in July 2019.

UN-OHRLLS and the ITTLLDC collaborate closely in the implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for LLDCs.

In November 2020 UN-OHRLLS on behalf of the United Nations and the ITTLLDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding to forge greater collaboration in their work.
