Mr. Samuel Mue

Samuel Mue is an award-winning Youth Climate Leader and upcoming Social Entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership, youth engagement, social impact and sustainability working to accelerate Africa’s Sustainable development. He is passionate about ensuring that young people are put in at the heart of sustainable development leading him to interact with and impact directly and indirectly over 10,000 young people over the past 4 years by hosting over 25+ events and programs. Most recently, he served as the Administration and Logistics Lead for the African Youth Climate Assembly, the official youth engagement mechanism for the Africa Climate Summit, which brought together over 800 young people from over 40 countries to examine how to transform the African climate discourse through youth-led climate action and innovation! 

At the moment, he is the Executive Director of Kenya Ni Mimi, a youth-led social campaign localizing and personalizing sustainability, Co-Chair for the Education for Sustainable Development Working Group at the UNESCO SDG4 Youth & Students’ Network, Youth Engagement Lead at Sustainable Kenya and the CEO & Co-Founder of Zero Afrika, his social enterprise working to provide solutions for sustainable living. He is excited to be participate in the 2024 Africa Dialogue Series sharing insights about continuing education in crisis situations against the background of education being the theme for the African Union this year.
