Summary
To be held on 5, 12, 19 and 26 September 2023, the “Africa’s Youth Voices” initiative of the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa aims to engage young people in Africa to share ideas and experiences from Africa by Africans on accelerating development across the continent, leveraging the United Nations and of the African Union.
Participants will engage on six key issues, including Finance and means of implementation; Energy and climate; Digital and People-centred policies: education, health and social protection, via audio on Spaces, a tool available through X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.
This next engagement of “Africa’s Youth Voices” will be held during the SGD Summit and will include insights from young Africans into key areas addressed during the Summit to capture perspectives from the continent.
