Dr Ruth Kinoti is the MD & CEO of Shalem Investment Ltd, a Social enterprise that is actively working towards commercialization of Smallholder farming and providing consumers with Safe, Nutritious & Affordable food.
Through skill, experience and the Favor of God, Ruth has contributed to the growth of Shalem Investment Ltd into an impactful Social Business marketing Dry farm produce for over 30000 Small holder farmers & established a Food manufacturing Factory that is employing over 200 persons ( 67% of them women) producing Safe, Affordable & Nutritious food targeting the Base to middle of Pyramid Populations.Ruth’s ability to work with development partners and other entrepreneurs for the benefit of Small holder farmers in Kenya has earned her many Accolades and the title “Social Entrepreneur and Integrator”.
Ruth Kinoti holds a Honorary Doctorate (PHD) awarded by the Breakthrough International University of California USA, a Master of Arts (MA) in Organizational Leadership from Africa International University (AIU) and a Bachelor of Education degree (Bed) from Kenyatta University in addition to several professional certificates..
Ruth is a Co-founder of an NGO,Community Micro enterprise for Hope Africa which contributes to Charity and support for the vulnerable members of her Community.
