Envisioning a post-COVID landscape: potential terrorism and counter-terrorism challenges
缅北禁地CTED’s Analytical Paper series has provided policymakers with important insights into the key short, medium, and long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on terrorism, counter-terrorism, and CVE, based on CTED’s engagement with all of its partners (particularly Member States), including data collected through a survey of partners from across the United Nations, civil society, academia and the private sector.
The upcoming fourth – and final – paper in CTED’s analytical series concludes CTED’s examination of current trends, issues and developments in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and its interplay with terrorism, counter-terrorism, and countering violent extremism.
On Friday, 17 December, CTED is holding a virtual roundtable to consider the long-term impacts of the pandemic and place them in the context of a challenging global terrorism and violent extremism landscape.
