The November Pogrom marked a turning point in the antisemitic violence of the Nazis and their racist collaborators.
After seeing his own synagogue in Austria go up in flames at the age of eight, Rabbi Arthur Schneier lived through the Holocaust before beginning his quest for coexistence. Senior Rabbi of the Park East Synagogue and Founder of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation, Rabbi Schneier has received international recognition for his work to protect religious freedom and human rights.
