Join us for a discussion that focuses on activities that counter hate speech on university campuses and beyond, and the contribution of the global academic community to create awareness and inform policymaking.

The discussion, marking the first International Day for Countering Hate Speech, is jointly organized by the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, the Outreach Programme on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, the United Nations Academic Impact, and the United Nations Outreach Programme on the Transatlantic Slave Trade and Slavery. The discussion is Episode 7 of the "Beyond the long shadow: engaging with difficult histories" live discussion series.
