Charles Amo-Agyemang
Dr. Amo-Agyemang is a lecturer of International Relations and Politics at Department of Political Science, University of Ghana, Legon. He holds a PhD from the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Lapland in Finland. He holds adjunct lecturer positions at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana and Lancaster University Ghana. He is also a Fellow of the Partnership for Africa’s Next Generation of Academics (PANGeA), South Africa. His research interests are broadly situated within, International Relations, International Political Economy, Resilience Discourse, Indigenous Studies, Afrikology, Environmental Politics, Anti-colonial thought, and De-colonial theories of Development with a particular interest in Africa. He has published in such Journals as Journal of International Politics, International Journal of African Renaissance Studies -Multi-, Inter- and Transdisciplinarity, Cogent Social Sciences, Anthropocene Review, Review of Education, Pedagogy, and Cultural Studies, The Trumpeter: Journal of Ecosophy among others. Dr. Amo-Agyemang’s current research looks at Resilience Thinking: International Policies, Practices and Discourses in Africa.
