Raphael Mezui-Mintsa
Dr. Rapha?l Mezui-Mintsa has served as Director-General for the Promotion of the Digital Economy in the Ministry of the Digital Economy of Gabon since 2019.
He is President of the Ministry’s Operational Technical Committee of the eGabon Project. Dr. Mezui Mintsa also serves as the current Chairman of the Digital Trade Committee of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Appointed Deputy Secretary General in charge of Telecommunications, Dr. Mezui Mintsa joined the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in 2001. In 2004, he strengthened the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency as Technical Advisor to the President.
A Research and Studies Engineer at the National Center for Telecommunications Studies (CNET Paris) of France Telecom from 1988 to 1992, Dr. Mezui Mintsa joined the Gabon Post and Telecommunications Office in September 1993 as Head of Studies Telecommunications and International Technical Relations. In 1995, he was promoted to Technical Director, in charge of satellite communications networks, then Deputy General Manager of the Gabonese Telecommunications Company (GABTEL).
