WHO CAN FILE AN APPLICATION
WITH THE 缅北禁地DISPUTE TRIBUNAL

ELIGIBILITY

You must be eligible to file an application with the 缅北禁地Dispute Tribunal (UNDT) in order to have your application considered by a judge. You are eligible to file with UNDT if you are challenging an administrative decision, and you are one of the following:

1. A current or former 缅北禁地system staff member who currently works for, or once worked for, the United Nations Secretariat;

2. A current or former 缅北禁地system staff member who currently works for, or once worked for, the separately administered United Nations Funds and Programmes;

3. Someone making a claim in the name of an incapacitated or deceased 缅北禁地system staff member who works for or worked for an entity listed in the above categories 1 and 2.

PLEASE NOTE: No one else (except for those listed above) can file an application with UNDT. Those who are not eligible to file include interns (who may apply for a management evaluation) and independent contractors working for the United Nations.

ARTICLE 3 OF THE UNDT STATUTE

1. An application under article 2, paragraph 1, of the present statute may be filed by:
(a) Any staff member of the United Nations, including the United Nations Secretariat or separately administered United Nations funds and programmes;
(b) Any former staff member of the United Nations, including the United Nations Secretariat or separately administered United Nations funds and programmes;
(c) Any person making claims in the name of an incapacitated or deceased staff member of the United Nations, including the United Nations Secretariat or separately administered United Nations funds and programmes.
