Companies like Amazon and Walmart have millions of customer transactions every hour while Facebook has over 250 Petabytes of data added daily. As increasing amounts of data are available to businesses and science, there is tremendous potential for transforming policies, research, and society at large. Data engineers are tasked with transforming this information into formats that can be used for data science projects, making skilled data scientists and data engineering critical.
