13 November 2018 - United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is pleased to announce the , to be held on Thursday, 29 November 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The lecture, entitled Why 1999 Matters in 2020: A Conversation on the Hague Appeal for Peace Conference and the 缅北禁地at 75, will be delivered by Cora Weiss, President of the Hague Appeal for Peace, United Nations Representative of the International Peace Bureau and Honorary Patron of the Committee on Teaching About the United Nations. Ms. Weiss is an activist for civil rights, human rights, women's empowerment and peace education. She also serves as a Board Member of Peace Boat US and Chair of the Board of the Downtown Community Television.

The UNAI J. Michael Adams Lecture and Conversation Series was inaugurated in 2014 in remembrance of educator, author and advocate of global citizenship J. Michael Adams. Mr. Adams served as President of Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1999 until his death in 2012, during which time he inspired a new vision and mission dedicated to preparing world citizens through global education.
