1. c) The international poverty line set by The World Bank is a global benchmark, currently $1.90 a day per person in 2011 purchasing power parity terms, below which a person's minimum nutrition, clothing, and shelter needs cannot be met.

2. b) According to The World Bank in its report Poverty and Shared Prosperity 2016, the global poverty estimate for 2013 was 767 million people, who are predominantly rural, young, poorly educated, mostly employed in the agricultural sector, and living in larger households.
