Office of Programme Planning, Finance and Budget

We work to secure the financing of the Organization’s expenses, and to ensure sound, effective and efficient integrated financial management of and reporting on United Nations resources, supported by a strong internal control environment.

At the same time, we ensure effective and efficient deliberations by Member States on the results to which the Organization contributes, the translation of mandates into workplans, and on the resources required for that work in line with its mandates, and to ensure the effective and efficient management of resources.

Office of the Under-Secretary-General

Through services to the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly and to the Committee for Programme and Coordination, we facilitate effective and efficient deliberations and decision-making.

Through management advisory services, we advance transparency of administrative decision-making, fairness, integrity and the resilience of the Organization to deliver on its mandates.

Enterprise Resource Planning Solution Division

A brief ceremony was held at 缅北禁地Headquarters and in Lebanon to mark the launch of Umoja, with the deployment of Umoja (Foundation) Pilot at the 缅北禁地Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the Office of the 缅北禁地Special Coordinator for Lebanon (UNSCOL). Umoja is a complex, multi-year project aimed at streamlining, modernizing and harmonizing administrative processes throughout the United Nations Secretariat and in field offices. It is to be implemented in successive stages to be known as Umoja Foundation and Umoja Extension.
